Food Allergy Testing
Do you have excess weight, headaches, mood swings, arthritis, yeast infections, skin problems, bloating, runny nose and poor memory? If you answered yes to any of these questions ask your provider if you need to have your food allergies tested.
There are two different types of allergies to foods. The one most people think of is IgE or immediate reaction. For example, someone eats a peanut and they get hives and difficulty breathing after ingestion. However, there is also IgG or delayed reactions from foods. which may not be apparent until hours to days after a food was ingested. The delay in the presentation of symptoms makes it difficult to know what foods are causing a reaction. We also test for wheat and gluten sensitivity, which are precursors to celiac disease.
Food sensitivities are delayed immune reactions to foods. The following health problems and others may be alleviated when you identify and eliminate reactive foods from your diet.
The “right” food may be wrong for you…Why? It may be you have food sensitivities.
“The food sensitivity testing and resulting outcome has revolutionized my life. I am no longer tired, bloated, or lethargic. I now eat whole, organic and nutritious foods. By completely cutting out my food allergies, I am a changed person. They assist in helping you choose a natural and alternative lifestyle that brings a better quality of life.”
“I had bad allergies, no energy, dizziness, could not sleep, and had acid in my throat at night. I took a food sensitivity test at Crossroads and found many foods that I had sensitivities to. I have eliminated dairy, gluten products and minimized eggs. With the elimination along with supplementation, I sleep better, am in a better mood, have less skin problems, more energy and virtually no acid.”
